What starts as a seemingly straightforward public service announcement quickly reveals itself to be something else entirely. Written, produced, and directed by Dominic Barrow, DON'T follows a girl and her two friends as we piece together the events of one unforgettable night.

Working as a two-man team, Dominic led the project as writer, director, and producer while I handled cinematography, editing, and music production. DON'T began as a side project during the early stages of our larger production Page Turner — a creative outlet that gave us room to experiment and have fun with the filmmaking process while keeping our collaborative momentum going. What started as a low-stakes passion project became a polished short film we're genuinely proud of.

Preceding DON'T are three original shorts written, produced, and directed by Dominic, designed to play as fake movie trailers before the main feature. On each one I handled cinematography, editing, and music production. Functioning as both a tone-setter and a showcase of range, each trailer carries its own distinct style and premise. The goal was to warm the audience up and signal early on that nothing about what follows should be taken too seriously.
